Recknagel Engineering was founded on a single idea — that precast deserves its own specialist. Most structural firms keep a precast folder — a side service squeezed between steel and cast-in-place work, handed to whoever happens to be free. Precast doesn't reward that. The connections, the lifting stresses, the erection sequence, the plant's tolerances — they reward an engineer who lives in them every day, not one who visits between other deadlines.
Every project is led by a licensed PE with deep precast experience. Pre-construction support, gravity and lateral analysis, connection design, erection engineering, BIM coordination in Tekla Structures, full drafting, and PE stamping — all under one roof, all integrated.
We work lean, we stay accountable, and we're on the phone when the field calls. From a feasibility sketch to the final connection, we follow the project through the last panel. That's the job.
